Parish and town councils
Websites and IT for parish and town councils
Since 2025/26, Assertion 10 on the annual governance return asks councils to confirm proper IT and data arrangements. The Practitioners' Guide expects a website that meets WCAG 2.2 AA, an email address on a council-owned domain, and an IT policy.
We help councils get there at a fixed price.
What we do
Accessibility check
We test your key pages and documents against WCAG 2.2 AA and give you a plain list of what to fix.
Fixes or a new site
We fix what we can on your current site, or build a simple accessible one you can update yourself.
Accessibility statement
Written or updated to match what the site actually does.
Council email
Set up on a council-owned domain, so council business doesn't run through personal email accounts.
IT policy
A short policy written for your council, ready to adopt at a meeting.
We help you meet the standard. Your internal auditor makes the final assessment.
Prices
Fixed prices
We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added to our prices.
